Red-billed Ox-pecker by Pierre Jordaan I was watching the buffalo drinking water early in the morning at the overnight hide in the Zimanga Private game reserve. After a while the red-billed ox-peckers decided to join the buffalo. The ox-pecker was initially sitting on the buffalo, but eventually decided to come down to drink water. The nose of the buffalo was an ideal platform for the ox-pecker. I loved this image with the early morning sunlight in the eyes of the red-billed ox-pecker.
