FINALIST DESERT PARADISE (opposite top) This was taken close to Ganab in the Namib-Naukluft National Park in Namibia. The wonderful thing about this desert is that most activity is centred around the waterholes. By waiting patiently, I was able to capture this image of an oryx while a flock of sandgrouse flew in for their morning drink.
