Highly commended - Angry Bird - I sat near the Craig Lockhart waterhole in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. I watched this hole for hours, I could see a head bobbing in the dark, at the back in the tree trunk. I tried every setting known to man, as well as a few of my own creations, to try and get the camera to focus inside the hole but to no success. Just as the setting sun dropped low enough to hit the hole, out popped one rather annoyed looking owlet.
