Highly commended – Breakfast Fight – These two white-browed sparrow weavers were the resident pair at Swartpan in the north of the Kgalagadi. During the day they kept us entertained with their lively chatter, while the poor male kept busy, building multiple different nests for his mate. Early one morning they got into a fight, with the bark flying off the tree. Luckily I was ready with my camera and snapped them against the rising sun.
