Finalist – East Worth – Early one morning at Lesoloago Pan in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, this jackal walked straight towards our vehicle and got into a staring contest with my lens. The first rays of the sun gave him this red glow. I snapped away until he got too close to focus on. I swear he would’ve climbed in had I opened the door.
