Highly commended – Jacana with eggs – This photo was taken from a specially designed photography boat on the Chobe River, in Botswana. We were watching this jacana male foraging around and then returning to its eggs. The female jacana, moves from male to male, laying eggs. The elected male then cares for the eggs and also the chicks, once they hatch.
