Highly commended – Panther Chameleon with Grasshopper – We found this Panther chameleon while on a walk in the Palmarium Reserve in Eastern Madagascar. I was focusing manually with a pretty narrow depth of field, but thankfully this shot turned out well. I’m particularly happy with the sharpness and detail of the chameleon’s head and how nicely it is separated from the background and the beautiful bokeh from the Canon 100mm macro lens.
