Highly commended – Flying tadpole – It was early morning and we were sitting in the Lagoon Hide at Zimanga Game Reserve. This green backed heron was patrolling the edge of the water for a breakfast snack. The perfect morning light and smooth water, gave me the opportunity to shoot this mirror image. I was hoping to get a shot of the heron finding something to eat.
