Unruly passenger punches flight attendant on American Airlines flight Posted by David Henning on 26 September 2022 A man from California, USA, has been charged after punching a flight attendant in the back of the head on an American Airlines flight. The flight was travelling San from José del Cabo, Mexico, to Los Angeles International Airport on September 21. The confrontation began when the passenger got up from his seat and asked for coffee, grabbing the flight attendant’s shoulders, New York Times reported. The video posted shows the passenger approaching the flight attendant and proceeding to punch him. The passenger then fled to the back of the plane, where other passengers apprehended him and he was cuffed by another attendant. The unruly passenger was further restrained with seat belt extenders, with the flight attendant who was punched remaining in the back galley of the plane for the rest of the flight.
