Rare sighting of lion giving birth filmed at MalaMala Game Reserve Posted by Tsoku Maela on 30 November 2022 Witnessing an animal giving birth in the wild is a fascinating experience. In a rare sighting, a lioness was seen giving birth to a cub at MalaMala Game Reserve in Mpumalanga. Lionesses can usually give birth to three cubs at a time, but this time only one was in sight. After giving birth, she carried her cub away from prying eyes, perhaps seeking privacy to give birth to more little cubs. Take a look.
