Nyala fights off wild dogs and hippo, only to be nabbed by crocodile Posted by David Henning on 9 September 2022 A nyala found itself trapped between a pack of African wild dogs and a hippo, only to be nabbed by an opportunistic crocodile at Royal Malewane in Greater Kruger. The nyala bull was chased by the wild dogs and retreated into the water. While it had to defend itself from the wild dogs, a territorial hippo was lurking behind. Just after it managed to keep the hippo away, a crocodile emerged from the opposite side to bring the sighting to an end. Watch the video below from Latest Sightings.
