Lion chases cheetah and pack of wild dogs hunt baboon in one sighting Posted on 15 May 2023 A lion became defensive of its territory, chasing a solitary cheetah away in MalaMala Game Reserve. However, guests on the game drive we lucky to see two unique sightings, as a pack of African wild dogs stalked a baboon. A disgruntled lion can be seen chasing a cheetah away but, fortunately enough, the lion’s speed was no match for the cheetah. The lion didn’t seem too phased about the nearby pack of wild dogs chasing down Chacma baboon. The pack seemed to have chased the baboon for some time, and we don’t know whether or not he got away.
