Leopard’s leisurely stroll through South African bush lodge Posted by Tsoku Maela on 26 May 2023 Tags:wildlife Sometimes, the South African wilderness can be an incredibly unpredictable place. This was definitely the case when a leopard casually strolled through the outdoor entertainment area of a bush lodge. Picture this: you’re about to settle down for afternoon sundowners by the pool in your luxurious safari villa when, suddenly, a leopard appears, leisurely wandering by. This extraordinary event took place at the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve not too long ago. Thankfully, there were no guests present outside at that exact moment. But someone inside the villa managed to capture the incredible sight on camera. The footage was later shared on Instagram by Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve, with Retha Cooke credited as the videographer. In the video, the majestic feline can be seen strolling past the pool and the outdoor lounge area, before gracefully exiting through a nearby fence. The caption accompanying the post read, ‘While doing final checks on a Luxury Villa at Bush Lodge, it was not just our staff ensuring everything was in place for guest arrivals…’ It seemed as though the leopard was conducting its own last-minute inspection.
