Incredible footage of the Augrabies Falls gushing at full force

The waterfalls in the Augrabies National Park are a spectacular sight to behold right now. The Orange River measured a mighty 2,583 cumec (cubic metres per second) on Sunday, January 2 according to News24.

‘All indication is that it will peak from Wednesday onwards and it will stay like this for at least over the weekend,’ SANParks posted on their Facebook group.

All the hiking trails have been closed temporarily due to the high water levels.

Daily visitors fees are R60 per adult and R30 per child under the age of 12.

Gate times: 7am – 5pm.
