Buffalo narrowly escapes from lion and crocodile attacks in Kruger Posted by David Henning on 12 July 2021 A lone buffalo managed not one, but two narrow escapes from a pride of lions and a crocodile before its herd came to rescue it in Kruger National Park. Latest Sightings shared a video by Thuli Kuhmalo of a buffalo chased by the lions into the watering hole, only to be attacked by a crocodile. Managing its second escape from the crocodile, it was once again encircled by the pride of lions on the banks of the waterhole. It managed to defend itself from the lions’ ambush long enough for the cavalry to arrive with the rest of the herd coming down to relieve the lone buffalo. Watch the full sighting below.
