Not your average ‘ski holiday’ Posted on 27 July 2018 Tags:K2, Pakistan, skiing We guess you wouldn’t call this a holiday, a walk in the park or a picnic either, but it is rather amazing (and scary) to watch. Polish ski mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel has made history, as the first man to ski down from the summit of K2, the world’s second highest mountain at 8611 metres on Sunday 22 July. K2 is known as Savage Mountain due to the technical difficulty of the climb and the high fatality rate. So we don’t recommend that you try this, even (or especially) if you consider yourself a pro on the slopes of Tiffandell Ski Resort.
