This Chennai man feeds 8,000 parakeets every day Posted on 9 August 2018 Tags:birds, Chennai, parakeets These parakeets relocated to the city of Chennai after the Southeast Asia floods in 2006 – and the roof of Joseph Sekar’s camera repair shop has become a feeding sanctuary for them. Vimeo They are fed twice a day and forty percent of Sekar’s income goes toward their food. Vimeo It all started when he noticed two of these birds and after he put food out, the number of his feathery guests grew.
