Video: Above and Below – beautiful time lapses of Vietnam, Myanmar and Nepal Posted on 17 March 2015 This is my favourite travel video discovery this week. A short (1:30) series of time lapse footage from Ryan Deboodt, who’s been getting a lot of views recently on his impressive aerial drone footage of Hang Son Doong, the world’s largest cave in Quảng Bình Province, Vietnam. It’s beautiful footage of an area most of us never even knew existed before now, and it’s well worth a watch. But this shorter composite that includes shots of the cave, of warm, mist-shrouded fields, and stars soaring over the Himalayas captures everything evocative about the Far East’s open spaces. It seems that Ryan Deboodt has a lot more still to share and I can’t wait to see it. Above and Below from Ryan Deboodt on Vimeo.
