World’s top 5 cruise destinations for 2019 Posted on 23 August 2019 The world’s best cruise destinations for 2019, according to the review ratings of cruise passengers for cruises in the last year, have been released in the fourth annual Cruisers’ Choice destination awards on Wednesday 21 August. The most popular cruise destination of the year was Avignon, in Provence France, which was also named best European river cruise destination. In second place was Bora Bora in French Polynesia, followed by Alaska’s Glacier Bay. Vienna, Austria was voted fourth best and Singapore fifth. Unfortunately, the continent of Africa (with its cruises between Durban and Mozambique, Madagascar or Mauritius, or Cape Town and Namibia) was not considered for these awards along with the rest of the world’s cruise destinations. 1.
