Win a R20,000 travel voucher Posted on 6 September 2018 Tags:flight centre, travel app A new travel App is going to change how South Africans book holidays by allowing you to ‘plan, book and manage your trips from anywhere’. The new travel app created by Flight Centre simplifies all your travel needs. To launch the app the travel group is running a competition from 1 September to 15 October 2018, for new registrants who download it. The winner will receive a R20,000 travel voucher. The application is available for download on GooglePlay for Android and App Store for iOS phones. After registering (by filling in your name, email address and creating a password), it enables you to search and book both local and international flights, cruises and other holiday packages. We downloaded the app to test it and found some handy features, for instance you can get a quote for travel insurace, view travel news and brochures with useful information on destinations such as Mauritius, Zanzibar, Thailand and more. Other tools that are meant to enhance travel during a trip include the built-in navigation system and an activities exploration feature. Flight Centre Travel Group Middle East and Africa Managing Director, Andrew Stark, said, “We’ve seen how travel has gone mobile with the widespread use of Smartphones in the South African market. Our customers turn to their mobile phones for their travel inspiration. They use their mobiles to manage their trip, by checking-in online or sourcing directions.” Related Posts Cape Town’s sustainability: Leading the way in environmental initiatives 1 June 2023 As National Environmental Month commences in South Africa, Cape Town stands proudly at the forefront... read more Kapama to host Safari Guide of the Year Awards 2023 1 June 2023 Kapama Private Game Reserve near Hoedspruit will host this year’s Safari Guide of the Year... read more Blood Lions relaunches for public viewing on YouTube 1 June 2023 Award-winning documentary feature film Blood Lions has been relaunched on YouTube for public viewing, creating... read more PREV ARTICLE NEXT ARTICLE
