Uber reveals 2019’s most popular tourist attractions

Uber has released a list of its top tourist attractions and destinations around the world based on the number of trips recorded to these spots.

According to the popular ride-sharing app, riders enjoy using Uber when travelling. ‘The Empire State Building once again reigns supreme as the most frequently Ubered-to tourist attraction,’ the company announced on its website, ‘with Disneyland and the Louvre gaining traction.’

1. Empire State Building, New York, US

2. Freedom Tower, New York, US

3. CN Tower, Toronto, Canada

UberEats, the company’s food delivery service, also noted some interesting stats:

  • Thousands of orders were placed from these destinations too, with food delivered to sightseers at the Eiffel Tower, Golden Gate Park, the Parliament House in Australia, and Toronto’s CN Tower.
  • Uber has deduced that the total length of all the noodles delivered in 2019 is 13 times longer than the distance from San Francisco to Tokyo.
  • French fries were the most popular ‘dish’ ordered in 2019 and, green juices were very high on the list of orders as well.
  • Toronto, Canada saw the most coffee orders.
