Tripadvisor will match donations made towards providing meals in Ukraine Posted by Anita Froneman on 14 March 2022 People from all over the world have rallied to support Ukraine after Russia launched a full-scale invasion in February. Tens of thousands of people from around the world are booking Airbnbs in Ukraine as a form of aid, even though none of them are intent on travelling to the tumultuous nation anytime soon. READ: People are booking Airbnbs in Ukraine as a way of sending aid An organisation called World Central Kitchen (WCK) is working at a 24-hour pedestrian border crossing in southern Poland to serve fleeing Ukrainians hot meals. Now, the Tripadvisor Foundation is supporting WCK in these efforts to supply meals and will match donations made by the public. The travel review platform said it is matching an additional $250,000 in donations, on top of the previously-matched $250,000 going towards WCK.
