According to TimesLive, the warning was issued on Monday, with the storms forecast to last until Wednesday. Golfers and fishermen were highlighted at being especially at risk when it comes to being struck by lightening. People were warned to take shelter indoors and not under a tree, telephone or power lines. Severe thunderstorms – BE PREPARED when a WATCH is issued and TAKE ACTION when it is upgraded to a WARNING!
