Thunderstorm warning for parts of South Africa Posted on 1 November 2020 Severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours and hail are expected to hit parts of the Free State, North West, and Northern Cape on Sunday, November 1. Residents are warned that this might cause localised flooding, property damage, and reduced visibility according to Storm Watch. Wet roads, pooling, and poor visibility are expected over main roads such as the N3, N1, and N12, which may lead to increased accidents and heavier than normal traffic.
