The Red Planet like you’ve never seen it before Posted on 7 December 2018 Tags:photography, Travel Inspiration, Travel News NASA’s InSight lander has landed safely on its new home planet, Mars, and NASA has just released over 2,540 images of Mars captured by the spacecraft, as well as pictures of artists’ renderings of it on Mars. InSight, short for Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport, is part of NASA’s Discovery programme. According to experts, the spacecraft’s mission to Mars will be the first to unlock the hidden geological secrets of the planet’s core.
