The Knysna Zipline is officially open Posted on 16 September 2020 The Knysna Zipline, situated between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna in the Harkerville Forest, has opened in time for Tourism Month. This adrenaline-filled adventure is the longest zipline in the area. ‘Our Knysna Zipline has especially been designed and installed to enhance the natural beauty of the Kranshoek Sanparks picnic site. The ziplines are some of the longest you will experience and definitely not for someone with a fear of heights. Extremely long cables crisscross the gorge at the picnic site and with heights of over 200 meters it will certainly be a memorable experience,’ says the official website. The zipline will take you on a 2 and a half hour adventure through incredible scenery, showcasing just how diverse South Africa’s landscape is.
