South Africa implements Ten Million Trees Programme Posted on 9 November 2021 The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) has implemented the Ten Million Trees Programme which aims to plant more trees in South Africa over the next five years. The Ten Million Trees Programme is a national message to all South African citizens to actively take part in the development and improvement of South Africa. The programme aims to attain environmental sustainability, maintain the protection of the environment, and ultimately realize the socioeconomic benefits it will have on South Africans. The DFFE is requesting that South African individuals and all South African organizations participate in the Ten Million Trees Programme.
