The annual expedition sees a group of influential individuals summiting Africa’s highest peak to raise funds for and create awareness about the Caring4Girls programme. Research has revealed that girls from poor backgrounds could miss up to 50 days of school each year due to menstrual-related challenges. The 2019 expedition aimed to ensure that 1 million girls will not miss a day of school and have much-needed accessibility the basic need of sanitary towels. The star took to Instagram to celebrate his summit, in a caption he wrote, ‘Getting to this point was a mission and a half, how I did it I have no idea but I know for sure that there is greater power! I still don’t know how to explain the whole experience without scaring you, because there was definitely tears, sweat, etc but all worth it and hell yeah I would do it again! I have never challenged myself this much but I’m glad I did.’ View this post on Instagram Getting to this point was a mission and a half, how I did it I have no idea but I know for sure that there is greater power!
