SAWS warns of thunderstorms, possible flooding in KZN and EC Posted on 28 December 2022 The South African Weather Service has issued Yellow Level 2 warnings of expected thunderstorms in KwaZulu-Natal as well as the Eastern Cape for 28 December. Localised flooding might occur and possible impacts include damage to infrastructure and property, as well as falling trees and other dangers to beware of The Western Cape and Nothern Cape also received warnings of near gale force winds and dangerous waves for 29 and 30 December. Those planning to operate personal watercraft should avoid taking to the ocean.
