Sani Pass is covered in snow Posted by Anita Froneman on 21 May 2022 The first winter snow has started to fall, and pictures of KwaZulu-Natal’s Sani Pass blanketed in white are making the rounds. Earlier this week, the SAWS warned of chilly temperatures, rainfall and possible snowfall over the weekend. For ski and snowboard enthusiasts, snow has also fallen in Afriski Mountain Resort in Lesotho. In the Western Cape, Matroosberg Nature Reserve said they have also welcomed a light dusting of snow on the mountain tops.
