Sanbona opens luxury lodge with Black Friday safari deal Posted by Adrian Brown on 26 November 2020 Sanbona Wildlife Reserve will be offering South African residents the opportunity to purchase a value-for-money Black Friday safari deal at R3,750 per person sharing per night, valid until November 27. The Black Friday special offer includes all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, morning and evening nature drives with drinks, as well as guided wilderness walks. It is valid for direct bookings of a minimum stay of two nights between December 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021, excluding peak season December 18, to January 31. The deal will coincide with the much-anticipated re-opening of luxury Dwyka Tented Lodge on the first of December 2020. It is also available at Gondwana Family Camp where it will include the Kids on Safari programme with babysitting during game drives. Dwyka Tented Lodge is the perfect honeymoon, anniversary, and special occasion destination, guaranteed to leave couples with precious memories for years to come. Embraced by striking rock formations, the secluded lodge is set in a horseshoe bend of a dry Karoo ravine framed by the beautifully weathered landscape. It boasts stylish, modern interiors and spacious lounge and dining areas, which includes a boma for romantic dinners under the stars. Each of the nine luxury tents has its own private deck and heated Jacuzzi to epitomise the romance of a pioneering wilderness adventure. The expansive reserve provides sanctuary for indigenous flora and fauna, including the Big 5, to offer an authentic safari wilderness experience within easy reach from Cape Town. Adventure activities include twice-daily game drives or wilderness walks and guided rock art walks, while more leisurely pursuits include spa treatments, bird watching, and relaxing at the pool. Sanbona has also frozen its current low season SA Residents rate of R4550 per person sharing per night, which will remain available for bookings at Dwyka Tented Camp and Gondwana Family Camp until September 30, 2021.
