Sail Croatia while getting paid to be a Taste Tester Posted on 22 August 2019 Tags:Croatia Cruise Croatia is looking for a Taste Tester to sail from Split to Dubrovnik on the new Food and Wine cruise in October 2020. The lucky candidate will sail the Croatian coastline for 7 days, stopping in Sibenik and the Dalmatian islands of Vis, Hvar, and Korcula from 10 October to 17 October 2020. The Taste Tester will try all the food and wine experiences that the new cruise has to offer while giving insightful feedback on how to improve the service offerings. He or she will also be responsible for trying the food and wines offered on the multiple excursions. The candidate will be paid £500 (about R9,200) in addition to going on an adventure of a lifetime. Naturally, all accommodation, tours and other expenses will be paid for. Croatia is popular for it’s island-hopping and is fast becoming known for its wine. The country has 64 grape varieties, nearly 20,000 registered winemakers and over 800 wineries. The Taste Tester will get to visit some of these along the trip. Onboard, the successful candidate will get breakfast, followed by a four-course lunch. The Cruise Director will also be giving ‘lectures’ to increase the candidate’s wine knowledge.
