Safari company launches luxury yoga retreat Posted on 24 February 2020 In October, Ker and Downey Africa, based in Cape Town, will host its first Women’s Luxury Yoga Retreat and Safari. The 9-day retreat will take guests across the Western Cape and to the Greater Kruger area. The retreat is a female-only experience, with the aim for it to be an annual event. The safari company have worked closely with expert yoga practitioner, Joëlle Sleebos to create the retreat program, according to Tourism Update. Guests will traverse Cape Town, the Cape Winelands and then to Greater Kruger. Morning and afternoon yoga classes are on the itinerary, as well as dining and safari activities and experiences. Jenieen van den Heever, head of operations at Ker and Downey Africa said to Tourism Update: ‘Our experience as luxury travel co-ordinators has long shown us the lasting benefits that travel has on the mind, body and soul of our clients.’ The retreat will be hosted at Arambrook Boutique Hotel, Santé Wellness Retreat and Spa and Saseka Tented Camp.
