Running Wild with Bear Grylls returns to Nat Geo with celebrity guests Posted on 23 September 2022 Renowned survivalist Bear Grylls is back with more bold and exciting episodes of the hit series Running Wild with Bear Grylls. Except this season, he is kicking things up a notch by introducing ‘The Challenge’ with celebrity guests tagging along to learn essential survival skills. Picture: National Geographic/Ben Simms These celebrity guests will have to prove their newly learnt skills under high-stress situations, like plunging into a frozen lake in the Candian Rockies or foraging for food in the deserts of the Great Basin. Celebrity guests include: Natalie Portman in Southern Utah Simu Lui in the Canadian Rockies Ashton Kutcher in the Costa Rican coastal rainforest Florence Pugh in the volcanic forests of Costa Rica Anthony Anderson in the Sierra Nevada Mountains Rob Riggle in the Great Basin Desert Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge will premier on National Geographic (DStv 181, Starsat 220) on Wednesdays at 9pm, from 28 September.
