Proudly all-female crew soars across Nigeria Posted on 12 March 2021 Women in aviation continue to inspire young girls all over the world to shoot for the stars. By Zimasa Katamzi An all-female in Nigeria crew recently shared some pictures to celebrate that had flown the Phenom 300 from Lagos to Abuja in Nigeria on March 10. Captain Denise Semedo who flew the light jet with Captain Funmilayo captioned the Facebook post “All female crew today on the Phenom 300. Praise the Lord”. The two female captains work for a private jet operator that specialises in fractional ownership and chartered services, Anap Jets and this was their first time flying together. Captain Semedo was based at Lanseria Airport just outside Johannesburg, South Africa for 6 years and in an interview with SAPeople she mentioned that her biggest inspiration was her uncle who was a B757 captain. “I didn’t know I could do it.
