Plan your day trip to the Kruger National Park Posted by Anita Froneman on 15 June 2020 SANParks reopened to the public on Monday, 8 June under Level 3 restrictions, and eager animal lovers didn’t waste a minute to make their way back to the beloved bush. Read: Sightings from first day back in Kruger When planning your self-drive outing to the Kruger National Park, it’s important to know the rules, regulations and expert tips on how to get the best out of your day. Don’t forget to book ahead to get into the park. Guests are advised to book in advance to ensure entry, as strict quotas will apply. Strict vehicle capacity limitations also apply. ‘Self-drive will be limited to households only and not individuals from different households in one vehicle. The number of people per vehicle should not exceed 70% of vehicle capacity,’ SANParks say on their website.
