PICTURES: More snow in South Africa as late cold front rolls in Posted on 27 August 2021 Earlier this week, snowfall was predicted for parts of South Africa and Lesotho over the weekend as a cold front made landfall. Extremely cold temperatures as low as minus 10 are expected this weekend on the highest peaks in the Western Cape and snow is predicted to continue sifting down until Sunday on a number of mountain passes in the country. With the low temperatures of Thursday night, people in Matroosberg Reserve woke up to a beautiful snowy wonderland on Friday, 27 August. Take a look.
