If you’re needing to heal, you can switch this function off and explore on your own. Activities and tours are focused are conducted in Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and China. Looking for love Mingling singles can take a guided tour through the city of Tainan in Taiwan to visit the Chinese Cupid Temple, for ‘prayers for good fate of love’. There are also activities to bring out your inner child, including day trips to Disneyland Tokyo in Japan. You can also get active and explore and get bonding with rock-climbing experiences. Healing hearts If you’re on more of an Eat, Pray, Love journey and need to focus on yourself, one arts and cultural experience involves Kintsugi or ‘golden repair’ – the Japanese art of pottery repairing. Broken pieces are mended back together with gold paste to signify the transference of pain into healing. Other more fun experiences include healing spa treatment and ‘therapeutic haircuts’. Healing can also be fun, and you could try a Japanese makeup makeover or jewellery-making class. If you’re on the fence or in-between, you can head to Taiwan’s Healing Bar which offers ‘healing cocktails’ for broken hearts or hopeful couples. There’s also a Thai cooking class in Bangkok that’s ideal for singles or couples who want to learn to create their favourite Thai dishes. You can find love in the most unexpected places – when better than while you’re travelling? Breakup Tours is currently available for Android and iOS users and currently caters to English and Chinese speakers.
