Mauritius further eases Covid restrictions Posted by David Henning on 30 June 2022 Mauritius will further lift its Covid restrictions from 1 July following a successful vaccination programme and a low infection rate. The island state will lift its mandatory mask requirement, but mask mandates will remain in place in certain public areas such as hospitals, airports and public transport. Mauritius’ double vaccination rate currently stands at over 90%, with two-thirds of all adults having already received their booster shots.
