Mango Airlines now offer flights to Zanzibar Posted on 2 September 2013 Tags:Africa, Johannesburg, South Africa, Zanzibar Breaking news in the African travel industry is that Mango Airlines will be offering flights to Zanzibar as of 21 September. This according to a report on Tourism Update. Mango is one of the select few low cost local airlines that are still doing well in South Africa, so it’s wonderful to see them extending their reach into Africa. The Zanzibar flights are already up on the Mango website and open for bookings. Zanzibar flights will depart twice weekly – on Tuesdays and Saturdays – and fly between OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Zanzibar. The cost of the flights start at R2 880 and this includes airport taxes and other fees. To book your flights to Zanzibar, visit Mango’s booking page.
