KwaZulu-Natal’s Albert Falls Dam in all its glory after heavy rain

Albert Falls Dam along the Umgeni River is at capacity after the generous rainfall the KwaZulu-Natal province has been receiving over the past weeks.

With the river in full flood, now is the perfect time to visit the area and take in the magnificent sight. It is only a half-hour drive from Durban and Pietermaritzburg and also offers great birding, talking trails and fishing.
