Kruger Shalati officially gets its five-star rating from the Tourism Council Posted by David Henning on 16 November 2022 The Kruger Shalati Train on the Bridge has officially received its five-star grading from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Having opened in 2020, it had a tough start with Covid closing all hotels. But today, Kruger Shalati is a far cry from the original transporter carriers that were parked on the bridge. The train offers 24 en-suite rooms, all offering guests a five-star rating luxury experience – accompanied by fine dining and leisure experiences on-site. Each carriage room is fitted with a bathtub, shower, king-sized bed, fridge and air conditioner. A lounge carriage and a pool deck are also stationed on the bridge, with the pool extended over the edge of the bridge above the Sabie River.
