KNP road closures due to rain Posted on 19 January 2020 Heavy rains moved through the Kruger National Park over the weekend, resulting in SANParks closing various roads within the parks boundaries. In a statement on Facebook, SANParks said that Sable dam flooded in the early hours of the morning. Guests managed to escape but vehicles were flooded. Phalaborwa Rangers who assisted the guests were helping to get their vehicles out. At around 8 am, the guests were safe at Phalaborwa gate but two cars needed to be towed.
