Image from Pixaby Italy’s newly appointed Minister of Culture Alberto Bonisoli and the Italian government announced the end of the practice of granting free entry to monuments and museums, saying it’s no longer sustainable. There are more than 480 cultural sites in Italy that have opened doors for travellers to enter for free on the first Sunday of every month as part of a program known as Domenica al Museo, or Sunday at the Museum.
