Indonesia takes delivery of first Chinese-made aircraft to a foreign market Posted by Tsoku Maela on 20 December 2022 Indonesian low-cost carrier TransNusa has received a delivery of its first COMAC ARJ21-700 aircraft. This move marked the first delivery of a Chinese-made aircraft to a foreign market. Picture: dreamcatcher-68 on Flickr The 95-seater economy class ARJ21-700 is the first of 30 COMAC planes ordered by the airline in December 2021 under a long-term lease agreement with China Aircraft Leasing Company (CALC). According to AEROTIME HUB the airline has also secured the option to order another 30 jets of this type.
