Hungry Hippos take on Letaba Rugby Club Posted on 31 May 2019 In Tzaneen, Limpopo, on Wednesday 29 May, the Letaba Rugby Club had plans for a game of touch rugby. Their opponents: a pod of hippos. The Hungry Hippos made their way onto the club’s rugby field at around 9.30pm but unfortunately the Letaba team had to forfeit the match. In the video taken of the scene, the hippos can be seen basking in their glory, grabbing some post-game snacks en route to the changing rooms.
