Heavy hail storm captured in Windhoek Posted by Olerato Ramafsi on 17 October 2022 We are all excited about the unfolding summer and looking forward to enjoying some beautiful weather. However, our neighbours in Namibia experienced an unusual hail storm on Sunday, 16 October. The country’s climate is predominantly arid with two desserts namely the Namib and the Kalahari covering most parts of the landscape. Below are pictures and a video showing the hail in Windhoek.
