Flood warning issued for KZN Posted on 11 November 2019 Tags:Durban South African Weather Service (SAWS) has forecasted a week of torrential downpours for KwaZulu-Natal. SAWS released a notice warning of heavy rain and possible flooding for parts of the province. ‘Leading to localized flooding and reduced visibility is expected over parts of Ugu and Ethekwini DMs from today,’ said SAWS. Image: SAWS According to IOL, Sipho Hlomuka, the co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC, has put disaster management teams on standby. ‘Our disaster management teams are on standby in areas that are prone to flooding and they will be monitoring the situation.
