Sail around the world on first Expedition World Cruise Posted by Adrian Brown on 1 February 2019 In 2021, the Silver Cloud cruise ship of the Silversea Cruises line will set sail around the world, on a voyage Silversea claims is the first of its kind in the expedition market. The small but luxurious Silver Cloud will travel to more than 30 countries and stop in at 107 ports in 167 days on the uncharted Expedition World Cruise. Silversea Cruises, an ultra-luxury cruise line, also calls its upcoming cruise The Uncharted World tour. The Uncharted World Tour is a fully inclusive cruise tailor-made for adventurous spirits who like to stay active on their travels. Beginning in Ushuaia, a resort town in Argentina, on January 30 2021, the ship will travel from South America’s Cape Horn along to Antartica’s South Shetland Islands, turn back to South America and sail along Chile’s coastline, then head towards Oceania and travel through it to Indonesia, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Athens, and Iceland, the final port of call. The luxurious Silver Cloud cruise ship Tours will be led by informative lecturers from Silversea’s Expedition team along with various world experts including Felicity Aston, the only woman to have ever crossed Antartica alone. Another expedition around the globe by Silversea Cruises will also launch in the same year; The Finest World Tour 2021 is a classic round-the-world 150-day cruise that covers 34 countries takes passengers to 54 ports. Guests on this cruise will travel aboard the Silver Whisper, an opulent cruise ship that has all the amenities of a boutique hotel on land. Departing from Fort Lauderdale in the United States on January 7 2021, the ship will circle the globe, ending her voyage in New York on June 6 2021. Covering countries from Central America, Panama Canal, Auckland, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Mumbai, and several other countries. The Finest World Tour route The Finest World Tour offers guest two new initiatives from Silversea, a Dine Around Town which allows guests to eat at two fine dining restaurant of their choice and this is included in the package. A second initiative called Your Day Your Wayallows travels to explore the area on their own with an English-speaking guide and are transported in private vehicles. Siliversea’ s Executive Chairman Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio says that Silversea hopes the enrich traveller’s experiences with their world cruises. “By operating two World Cruises in 2021, we are increasing the offering for our guests, pushing boundaries in the world of travel,” he said. Silversea Cruises CEO, Roberto Martinoli says that Silversea is the first cruise line to launch an Expedition World Cruise. “Building on our already remarkable World Cruise offering, silvers will become the first ever cruise line to launch an Expedition World Cruise in 2021.” Bookings for these cruises will open to the general public in March 2019. Silversea cruises First-class services and amenities are offered for guests, from the ocean-view suites, delicious cuisine to a dedicated butler.
