Fine-dining cooking demo at Greenhouse restaurant Posted on 3 July 2019 Calling all budding cooks, foodies and master chefs in the making: the award-winning Constantia-based Greenhouse restaurant – one of the top 10 restaurants in South Africa – will be hosting a series of four cooking demonstrations from July through to September 2019 which will be led by Head Chef Farrel Hirsch. The first in the series is set to take place on Saturday, 27 July from 3.45pm onwards. There will be canapés and bubbly on arrival and the demonstration itself will begin at 4pm in The Cellars-Hohenort Demonstration Kitchen at The Cellars-Hohenort hotel in Constantia, Cape Town. Participants will learn how to prepare one of Greenhouse’s signature dishes, Game Fish, and gain insights into Hirsch’s techniques. This very dish will be enjoyed later in the evening, prepared by Greenhouse, as guests progress from The Cellars-Hohenort Demonstration Kitchen to the restaurant itself. Once the demonstration is concluded, guests will enjoy pre-dinner cocktails at the beautifully-appointed Greenhouse bar from 5.30pm onwards. This will be followed by a seated three-course dinner paired with wine from 6pm onwards. The cooking demonstration, dinner, and all inclusions are priced at R2,200 per person, with an additional wine pairing option for R350 per person. Guests will also receive a special gift as a wonderful memento of this special experience in the world of fine dining. As places for the cooking demonstrations are limited, bookings are essential. The dates for all four cooking demonstrations are as follows: – Saturday, 27 July 2019 – Game Fish – Saturday, 24 August 2019 – Pork XO – Saturday, 31 August 2019 – Fish & Scallops – Saturday, 07 September 2019 – The Beet For more information or bookings, please contact: [email protected] | +27 (0) 21 795 6226 Image: Supplied Related Posts Cape Town’s sustainability: Leading the way in environmental initiatives 1 June 2023 As National Environmental Month commences in South Africa, Cape Town stands proudly at the forefront... read more Kapama to host Safari Guide of the Year Awards 2023 1 June 2023 Kapama Private Game Reserve near Hoedspruit will host this year’s Safari Guide of the Year... read more Blood Lions relaunches for public viewing on YouTube 1 June 2023 Award-winning documentary feature film Blood Lions has been relaunched on YouTube for public viewing, creating... read more PREV ARTICLE NEXT ARTICLE
